Jinny Chalmers Day is a community run/walk-a-thon and FUNdraiser supporting the Jinny Chalmers Fund for Education Justice. Join us for races, activities, food, and fun as we celebrate Jinny’s legacy and raise funds to support education justice. Building on the success of our inaugural event in 2025, which raised more than $56,000 for the Fund, we’re excited to bring the community together again in 2027.

The first annual Jinny Chalmers Day was a powerful celebration of community and education justice! Family, friends, and supporters came together to honor Jinny’s legacy with food, music, races, and reflection. Together, we raised over $56,000 to support family, youth, and educator-led initiatives through grants from the Jinny Chalmers Fund. This event was an impactful way to bring our community together to “get on track for education justice.”
